During your initial contact with Legacy Books, either by phone or in person, our project manager will discuss your vision of the project. We will want to know what kind of book you have in mind, the audience that you have in mind and the resources that you already have at your disposal. We'll want to get a sense of the scope of your project, what kind of support you will want and need from and the overall vision of your ideal project. We want to build a collaborative relationship with you and your project which will realize your vision and allow you to be as involved (or not) in your project.

Once we have a sense of the scope, the audience and what you want to accomplish, you might look at the project and be a bit overwhelmed. Relax! We've been here before. We know what comes next. We're here to help you to produce the book that you have in mind. We will offer advice and give recommendations throughout the project but ultimately this is your book. You have the final say on anything in your book. We are also excellent at providing different options for tackling the many ways your book can be produced.

We offer a myriad of services which can be adapted to fit the needs of your project. If you need writing, research, editorial, new photography we offer that plus much more.

We adapt. Ask any of our customers if we've welcomed changes to the plan. We do! Much is learned throughout the course of writing histories. The scope of your project may change midstream, and we are open to these changes. You may decide that more needs to included, perhaps less or you may change the content all together. This happens. We know your mind can and might change once . . . or a dozen times. We are here to assist you.

The most frequent question we are asked, and with good reason, is, "How much will this cost?" Pricing can be difficult. Projects like these come in as many different forms as you can dream up; pricing will vary based on your desires. This is the reason we put so much time and effort into figuring out what your wishes are for your book. Once we get a sense of what you want, we can give you a general estimate. However, this is nothing more than an estimate. Pricing will still vary.
